Nov. 7, 2023 - Veterans Day is an opportunity to honor the veterans who work and live in the local communities and areas we service. At UScellular, we are committed to hiring veterans and relying on the experience and knowledge they bring to their roles to keep our customers connected to what matters most. UScellular is proud to share the efforts we’ve made to support veterans and their families: 

• UScellular was recently recognized by U.S. Veterans Magazine (USVM) as one of its 2023 Veteran-Friendly Companies. USVM conducts this annual review to evaluate employers and be a resource for veterans who are job-seekers, business owners, students and more. 
• For the second consecutive year, we are supporting Black Diamond Charities through a $5,000 grant. Black Diamond Charities is a nonprofit that provides free project management training for military members to help advance their civilian careers. 
• In 2023, we enhanced our compensation for active-duty associates. We pledged to provide the difference between the associate’s military pay and their UScellular salary for up to 12 months if they are paid less than what they’re paid at UScellular while on deployment.  
• No matter where their service takes them, we continue to offer active military, reserves and veterans 15% off their monthly wireless plan to show our appreciation for their service to our country. 

Earlier this year, we spoke with several of our associates who bring the same dedication to their jobs as they did while they served their country. Please join us in expressing our gratitude and appreciation for them and all our active military personnel, reserves and veterans.
