UScellular's Gift of Connection Program Connects People to What Matters Most

Throughout the year, but especially around the holidays, our mission is to connect people to what matters most. While we’re all searching for the perfect gift for family and friends, we know that donations to local community organizations is the gift that keeps giving back.

As part of our “Gift of Connection” program, I’m happy to share that we’re committed to donating much-needed items to 40 nonprofit organizations across the country in honor of UScellular’s 40th anniversary.

Here’s a few examples of the organizations and the ways we’re supporting our communities:

  • BeLoved Asheville received $1,000 worth of bikes, scooters and skateboards to make families across Western North Carolina special.
  • Boys & Girls Club of Columbia, MO received camera and editing equipment to support a program to allow students to explore various career paths.
  • Little Light House of Tulsa received $1,000 in educational resources and toys to help support the organization’s mission of improving the quality of life for children with special needs.
  • Emerge Gallery and Arts Center in Greenville, NC received art supplies to help the organization’s Art is Good Medicine program to help people living with health disabilities or disease.
  • HAVlife Quad Cities received assorted sports equipment to help empower kids through art, music and athletics.

If you’d like to join us in giving the Gift of Connection in your local community this month, visit your local UScellular retail location to donate new sports equipment, art supplies or family board games.

At UScellular, our commitment to giving back is a part of our company, our associates and our culture. We’re proud of the positive impact we make in the local communities where we live, work, and play, and the Gift of Connection is just one example.
