Support for Lewiston, Maine

The following was shared with all UScellular associates from Kevin Lowell, Chief People Officer & Head of Communications for UScellular. 

I’m deeply troubled and saddened by the tragic shootings that occurred in Lewiston, Maine. Assaults like the one in Lewiston affect people in lasting and deeply personal ways. 

In our Dynamic Organization, we care for our associates, customers, and communities. I’d like to recognize our leaders in Maine for their efforts in ensuring our associates’ safety and delivering on our DO. 

UScellular is committed to taking actions that will lead to a safer society for all and will be making a charitable donation to the Central and Mid Coast Maine Chapter of the American Red Cross to help the victims and community recover. 

I encourage you to take action in ways that are meaningful for you. Consider opportunities to volunteer, or to financially support causes in our communities through a charitable donation. We continue to provide associates with a company dollar-for-dollar matching through our Building Better Communities site up to $2,500.
