UScellular Waiving Overage Fees in Areas Impacted by Tornadoes

DES MOINES, Iowa (March 7, 2022) – To support residents who may be impacted by the tornadoes in Iowa this weekend, UScellular is waiving overage charges for voice, text and data through March 11 in the areas of:

• Chariton
• Carlisle
• Norwalk
• Pleasant Hill
• Runnells
• Winterset

Customers in the impacted areas can rest assured that they will continue to have the smartphone data they need to stay connected in the aftermath of the storm. In addition, the Cell Advantage UScellular store at 59 E. Jefferson Street in Winterset has portable battery packs and chargers for residents who may need them, while supplies last.

To help relief efforts, UScellular has donated $5,000 to the local chapter of the American Red Cross.
