As vice president of brand management, Verchele is responsible for leading UScellular brand strategy and growing the company’s customer base.
Verchele has more than 25 years of brand and marketing experience. Prior to UScellular she served as chief marketing officer for Moe’s Southwest Grill at FOCUS Brands, where she was responsible for leading the brand’s multi-channel marketing strategy and culinary innovation. Prior to FOCUS Brands, Verchele held marketing leadership roles at United Services Automobile Association (USAA), InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) and The Procter & Gamble Company (P&G).
Verchele earned a bachelor’s degree from Tougaloo College in Jackson, Miss., and a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing from the School of Business at Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Ga. Verchele has served on the national board of directors for the Association of National Advertisers (ANA) and as an Effie judge, including the Grand Effie, which rewards advertising effectiveness.
