UScellular and TDS Partner to Offer Home Internet Options in Wisconsin

Madison, Wis. (May 8, 2023) UScellular and its sister company, TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) are now partnering to provide an exclusive benefit to customers of both companies.

In 12 stores across Wisconsin, UScellular associates can now offer TDS and UScellular’s high-speed internet products. This allows UScellular to identify the best solution for each customer, while also connecting the first-class service and experience both companies provide. This is the first time the companies have come together in this way to serve customers.

For a limited time, any UScellular wireless customer who signs up for TDS internet in a participating store will receive a discount on their monthly UScellular bill.

“We are excited to expand the broadband solutions our stores can offer to best meet the needs of our Wisconsin customers,” said Christine Paulsen, director of sales and operations for UScellular in Wisconsin. “Bringing TDS and UScellular together provides us the unique opportunity to make both wireless and fiber connectivity available to our customers.”

TDS is investing nearly $1 billion to expand its fiber network in Wisconsin and serves customers in more than 100 communities in the state. Its fiber product offers symmetrical internet speeds up to 8Gig, among the fastest in the nation. Participating UScellular stores were selected based on their vicinity to areas in which TDS has or is currently building out their fiber footprint. The stores are located in Appleton, Burlington, Green Bay, Janesville, Madison, Monroe, Onalaska, Oshkosh and Wausau.

This exclusive opportunity is available in-store only and on a trial basis with the potential to expand in the future. Customer support and billing will remain separate. For more news and information about UScellular, go to newsroom.uscellular.com.
