Rebecca Murphy Thompson

As vice president of government affairs, Rebecca is responsible for UScellular’s federal regulatory and policy efforts that help the company achieve outcomes that support its strategic business positions while providing an excellent customer experience.

Rebecca has more than 20 years of experience in legal affairs, legislative and regulatory issues. She joined UScellular in September 2022 and is the principal representative for the company on federal legislative and regulatory matters. Prior to joining UScellular, Rebecca served as executive vice president and general counsel for the Competitive Carriers Association and most recently as head of North America policy communications for Twilio Inc.

Rebecca earned a bachelor's degree in history and political science from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA, and a law degree from Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. Rebecca resides in the Washington D.C. area.
